Hi I’m Rachael
I’m a baby sleep consultant, mum and founder of Little Baby Sleep Co.
And I know just how much space sleep can take up in your head when it isn’t going well.
When my daughter was born, I learnt everything I could about birth — and almost nothing about sleep. I remember Googling “how do I get my baby to nap?” in the middle of the night, questioning everything I was doing and wondering why something that sounded so simple could feel so unbelievably complicated.
What I eventually learned changed everything for me.
Baby sleep isn’t simply about luck. There is so much you can do to get better sleep for your family.
What I want parents to feel
Whether you work with me one-to-one or learn through one of my workshops, my aim is always the same:
I want you to understand your baby’s sleep.
I want you to know why something is happening rather than constantly second-guessing yourself.
And I want you to feel confident making decisions that work for your own family.
There is so much conflicting advice around baby sleep. One person tells you one thing, another tells you the opposite, and suddenly you’re wondering whether you’re doing everything wrong.
You’re not supposed to magically know all of this.
My job is to make it clearer.
You know your baby. I know sleep.
There isn’t one perfect routine, one settling method or one right way to parent a baby.
Your baby has their own temperament, habits, needs and personality. Your family has its own rhythm. And what feels right to one parent may feel completely wrong to another.
That’s why everything I teach comes back to understanding the why behind sleep.
Once you understand what’s driving the problem, it becomes much easier to work out what needs to change.
I bring the sleep knowledge.
You bring everything you know about your baby.
And from there, you can make informed choices that actually make sense for your family.
Sometimes you want someone beside you.
For families who want more individual support, I offer one-to-one consultations and follow-up coaching.
That means we can look closely at your baby’s sleep, build a completely personalised plan and adjust it as we see how your little one responds.
I’m there to guide, explain, troubleshoot and reassure — not to hand you a plan and disappear.
Sometimes you want to learn and do it yourself.
Not every family needs one-to-one support.
That’s exactly why I created my online sleep workshops.
They take everything I teach families every day and break it down into clear, practical, age-specific guidance that you can work through in your own time.
The aim isn’t to give you a rigid programme to follow.
It’s to help you understand your baby’s sleep well enough to confidently work out what needs to change yourself.
Supportive — but also practical.
I’m warm, collaborative and very non-judgemental.
But I’m also methodical.
I want parents to come away knowing what to do next, why they’re doing it and what they can change if something isn’t working.
And while every baby is different, many of the families I work with see meaningful changes surprisingly quickly.
There are no guarantees with babies.
There is simply good information, a clear plan and the confidence to adapt it as your baby grows.
A little about my training
I’m a certified Baby Sleep Consultant, trained through Baby Sleep Consultant Training’s six-month programme, including more than 100 hours of tutorials and 60 hours of supervised hands-on case work.
Since then, I’ve worked with hundreds of families with babies and young children from newborn through to four years old.
But the biggest thing that experience has taught me is this:
There is never just one way to get there.
The best approach is the one that works for your baby — and feels right for your family.
You know your baby. I know sleep. I’ll help you understand the rest.
Not sure what kind of support you need?
Tell me what’s happening with sleep and I’ll help you work out the best place to start.
